A renovation of an existing guest house owned by the Kayu Agung municipal government, with the aim of creating a warmer and more homely atmosphere.

Timber elements are introduced throughout selected interior components, combined with a warmer color palette to create a more welcoming environment. The ceilings incorporate woven materials inspired by “purun,” a traditional local weaving craft, as a subtle expression of regional cultural identity.

The building is organized into three main zones. The front section functions as the guest house, while the middle section is transformed into a small-scale hall for community and governmental activities. The rear section accommodates the service functions of the building.
